He emerged as a star because of his good performances in domestic T20 leagues, where he scored fast runs with high strike rate and displayed a high ability to hit sixes.
Chennai Super Kings purchased him at ₹8.4 crore in the 2024 auction of the Indian premier league owing to his potential to hit hard and finish. In the IPL 2026, he plays for Delhi capitals (DC) as a impact player, he was bought by DC for Rs95 lakh, in the mega auction.
